Today is a nice day...

Went to school, chat with yy about philosophy stuff and girls opinion on it, such as why girl must wear skirt, would it be better to the mother earth if human doesn't exist and such.
Played congkak, the 5 rice bag thing the stick traditional game.
Went to Times Square to celebrate Mu Yi's birthday. Enjoyed it and took a bunch of silly picture.
Didnt really focus on tuition xP
Today the LRT was smooth and nice, so is the traffic. With a purple sky as the background.

Damn, I've been waiting for these feature for ages especially the picture support. While the move to sd thing was a bonus, it wasnt mention on the change log but user reviews. Been using it ever since the beta, can't wait for the window version!

N9 ninja! Hope I gonna get it!

Went to Low Yat for some cable and bump into the new Nokia Store right infront of the Mac Studio.
They were doing some promotion and we were given a box with a shuriken and stand a chance to win a N9 for free!
Hope my luck is on my side this time ^^
By the way the magnet shuriken thing is pretty cool, which is made up of high quality polycarbonate plastic thingy.

N9 was a pretty cool phone, the interface is clean and fluid. With nice quality build and the screen is just awesome, nice colour and viewing angle.
I just don't get it why Nokia bail out of Meego and jump ship to Window Phone 7.

Food log

Morning ate chu cheong fun with lady finger and tofu, then instant mee goreng at 7 eleven, then wanted to eat lou shu fun but close already and turn to the chicken rice stall but finish already and to another close by restaurant, but also finish already.
Wanted to cross the road but failed.
Saw the tangkak beef noodle stall infront of me.
On the way home bought two packet of nasi lemak and regret cause too big, then reach home and realise whole family at home plus my mom have prepared mee suah for me.
What a day.

All iPhone 4s preorder sold out!

All the iPhone 4s pre order has been sold out, and according to AT & T this is record breaking. Plus this is only AT & T alone, Verizon and Sprint didn't not announced the official figures, but announcing that the sales exceed their expectations.

Who cares about the critics? Who cares about their initial response?
The consumer response and sales are "the" initial response!

In Reverse chronology

-Whale and dolphin and shark in my house shining pool and i was complaining to my mom that there is not enough space for even one whale and why do you put so many in the pool?
- touched the killer whale
- outside my house saw people crwodung at the banana tree, saw a grape plant thing and wanted to pick one, stopped by mom, yet gotten one and peel of the skin, and try to take out all the seed but saw a caterpillar (embryo shape thing), inside, wanted to give mom cause too disgusting.
- was commanding or actually protecting a shopping complex like place, taking over the position of the commanding officer and try to protect the place from some sort of disease.
- try to maintain the green zone and forbidden the infected to cross the line.
- smashed the sony booth and try to get in contact with the patrol team using the walkie talkies on the shelf.
- cause my walkie talkie was spoiled and outta frequency.
- couldn't contact the team, everything gone haywire.
- very nervous and scarey scene.
- things are getting outta controlled
- the infected were rushing in.
- some sort of water park, celebration?
- monument? Movie? Friends? Complicated

This is only half of what I had dreamt, the first half I couldn't recall, shoulda had jot down earlier.

It has been a while since i dreamt such a long long dream.

It was fun, exciting, and quite scary too.

This is totally not a nightmare, but yet it is frightening

Graduated today? Well, at least it was fun.

2 hour plus of maths tuition ended, commute through the sardine LRT and cycle back home stuck in the middle of the road.
Reached home, drive my dad to the hospital, made a bunch of mistake, caught in a massive traffic jam, scould by my dad. Drive back again back to home, and gonna f tch my mom back from work. What a awesome friday I have, plus graduation day tomorrow, not sure what tie I'm gonna wear.
Man I'm exhausted.

So what do you think about the new iPhone 4S

The new A5 chip, superb 8mp camera, Siri and tons of other iOS 5 features. I'm pretty much satisfied with what they had announced but albeit dissapointed from the view of an Apple Fanboy. Cause there is no iPhone 5 coming out.
You can say that the Samsung Galaxy S2 have a more superb hardware, larger screen, or even 4G in some version.
But hey! Since when Apple cares about spec. Remember when the first iPhone came out and people are ranting that why no mms or even video recording and 3G.
It has been proven many many times that normal consumer don't care about the hardware inside your phone. They just want a "magical" phone that just work.
Even Apple own iPad has proven that numerous time.
Even the almighty online retailer Amazon had got the gist about it and releasing the Kindle Fire, according to some news, the Kindle Fire a received a preorder of about 250k unit date.
Kindle don't sell on spec, tons of phone or even tablet can win Kindle Fire and iPad or even the just announced iPhone 4s easily in terms of spec.
But yet, people would line up for them. Is all about the experience and how the hardware and software works magically together and achieved what the consumers desire.

They gonna change the world again today ith to introduction of the assistance function aka voice control plus artificial intelligence kinds stuff.
As they had change the world using their magical multitouch technology.
Trust me, you gonna be amaze.
They are going to do it again.

Let's talk iPhone, so what do you think?

My take would be, on the 4th of October Apple would announce a brand new iPhone 4s with A5 chip,1GB RAM, 8MP camera.
Where as, the old iPhone would made available in a 8GB model and sell in a cheaper price similar to the current iPhone 3GS.
I don't think Apple would come out a brand new, redesign iPhone 5 and a budget iPhone 4s.
There is just too much rumours pouring in, with conflicting rumours, and unless Apple are so great at hiding their secret that not a single part of iphone 5 has been surface.
The only solid rumour of iphone 5 redesign is the casing. Which is said to have a tampered back similar to the iPad 2.
To be honest I serious hope that I'm wrong and let the all mighty and magical apple surprise us all and come out with a iPhone 5 and a budget iPhone 4s.
Let's wait and see.

Kindle Fire

I was not really surprise by the announcement, as rumor were pouring in from here and there, especially from Techcrunch. As it was first reported by MG Siegler.

First off, why is this Amazon Kindle Fire thingy getting so much media attention? is all about the ecosystem and the all-too-awesome price which is 199$USD.

Take note,why people buy a tablet instead of a laptop? or even a smartphone? they don't really care whats under the hood, whether is a snapdragon, Tegra 2, or what ever ARM dual core processor you have there.
People only want to surf the web, check the email, some music, or maybe a Fruit Ninja or Angry Bird session.

All they want is to be able to do that smooth and "magical", and here is the thing. What if they can do all that in just 199$USD and with all the movie and music within reach from Amazon? instead of 499$USD iPad 2.

People would be rushing out to buy, the cheap price of the iPad which a lot of Android Tablet manufacture scartching their head. Suddenly because of Kindle Fire, the iPad 2 has become expensive.

So what if the kindle got no camera? "I have done playing with my iPad 2 camera for like a week or so then i had forgotten it" comment on Gizmodo

So what if the kindle got no 3G or GPS? whats MIFI for if you already have one?

Making some small sacrifice and improve on the other, as Apple has done it with the iPad, there is lost of Android Tablet that are more capable in terms of hardware spec than the iPad but why iPad is selling so well? dominating the media tablet market share with a share of about 80%
is all about the sacrifice that iPad had made in order to improve the others. such as battery life, smoothness, the "magic" factor.

and Kindle Fire is going to do the same but targeting a different segment of the market. with a price of 199$ 
I wont be surprise that Kindle Fire would be the best selling Android Tablet by next year and eating into ipad market share reaching maybe 30% or more.




but we will see how's their strategy as the brand recognition of Amazon is not that great in place outside North America and EU. and currently the tablet would only be available in US on November 15 2011.



Well I will say a BUY as for 199$ this is a bang for the buck!

Fright Night

Watched Fright Night with my beloved friend today.

Well, the show was pretty nice, way better than i expected.
The leading female character was pretty hot too, with the name Amy. The plot was pretty awesome as it turns out to be not another dumb ass horror show as there is a twist in the plot and it gave me a surprise. Like erm how the main character fight back, from zero to hero, and sometimes is pretty funny too. 


Overall this movie is nice. I will give it a WATCH and I will rate it 6/10

...and then they were talking about watching Abduction and i was like OMG! With a Rotten Tomato rating of 4%, i was like huh? Thank God i watched Fright Night Instead, and i am glad I pick the right show. 
Oh by the way the rating of Fright Night was over 80% and in my opinion it worth the 10 bucks. =D
Then we to eat some sushi, and it was like OMG the price =3=
I ordered a salmon bento with the hop of filling up my empty tummy, and was pretty surprise that it was able to do so with my unusually big black hole that i have there. Miso soup, mushi egg thingy and the bento was pretty nice though.
Oh yeah the waitress that was serving us was pretty cute too. She looks like erm... Myanmar or Vietnamese or something. Well she is cute anyway. 
Joel please spoil your day, and today is a nice day too!

Memories

Been there done that, well I had a girlfriend. Flop my exam, degree next year, computer science is my target, and becoming an entrepreneur would be next.

If only it could be that smooth and nice.

Returning the former glory that i had with this blog would be one of my target after finishing the all too awesome and life deciding exam on the 21st of November! Other than doing a YouTube chanel with an HD webcam.

Awh i am drooling over the just announced Amazon Kindle Fire. Wondering that 199$USD tablet will ever reach Malaysian shore.

Hopes remain, ah... If only i can have a decent camera, Nikon J1 would be awesome, if not the Canon S100 will do also.
